Previously, I tutored elementary English and Math, as well as high school Chemistry and Spanish. I also have experience as a Pre-Calculus Instructor for Mu Alpha Theta, a competitive mathematics organization. My favorite is STEM tutoring since the content application is vital towards advancing research, medicine and engineering.I love to help students understand subject information so that they can apply it to higher-level institutions such as research, college courses, career internships, etc.My tutoring style is to motivate students through a constructivist approach to learning and engage them in discussion-style instruction. I worked with these students in small groups and individual settings and tutored them in a variety of subjects, including math, reading comprehension and fluency, writing, handwriting, social studies, and science.
