My name is Zeeshan Qazi and I am majoring in Biology at Loyola University Chicago. I am working towards becoming a physician, and I expect to attend medical school next year. I have scored at the 100th percentile for the Physical Sciences portion of the MCAT. My Chemistry, Physics, and Biology knowledge is quite extensive. I have always been fascinated by science and medicine. I have been tutoring for 3 years, and I have experience teaching from 1st grade students all the way up to college kids. I enjoy tutoring because it is a way for me to help someone academically, which I believe is a very important part of one's life.

So many people approach math with a crinkled up face and a feeling that they just can't do math. Personally, I love math, but my goal for my students is to have them leave say, "It may not be my cup of tea, but I can do it." Mastery, and a sense of "Yes I can" is what I hope to leave my students with.I am always interested in trying to connect math to something else that you love, because in fact math describes the world around us.I am intensely curious about so many things and as a result I have pursued many interests.

I have worked with students over the age of eighteen as a Teaching Assistant for my undergraduate English Department, as well as with elementary and middle school aged children as an Assistant Stage Manager at the Lakewood Institute of Theatre. While I mostly tutor subjects in the field of English literature and language, I very much enjoy the challenge of teaching performance-based techniques on an online platform.

When tutoring I like to make lessons relatable to the student I am tutoring to help them stay interested in the topic at hand. In my free time, I like to explore the city, volunteer, and dabble in photography.

I tailor my classes to different students' needs, and I enjoy writing my own "Chinese grammar and practice" book based on different levels. I am a super responsible and hard-working person. I graduated from the University of Southern California December 2014, where I received my B.A. in Psychology and obtained a double minor in French and Forensics and Criminality. Currently, I am working on my Masters of Social Work and will pursue a PhD after graduation. I enjoy working with people but especially students. I have worked with children since high school and in my last occupation, I worked with children who suffered from behavioral problems. I value education and as part of working with students, I aspire to pass on that passion for education in order to achieve the most that life has to offer. After a long day, I always look forward to coming home to my German Shepherd as she has abundant energy and love.
