In two consecutive summers, I was the math teacher and tutor for the Upward Bound High School summer camp which gave me priceless knowledge and experience on what the high school students are interested in learning and what their strength and limitations are, thus I can address their questions and concerns accordingly. From 2012 to present, I have been a GRE and SAT math teacher helping students learn and improve their math (calculus, geometry, trigonometry, algebra), science subjects (physics, biology and chemistry) and developing their knowledge and skills for creativity and problem-solving.

I am currently a senior that is 2 semesters away from graduation.The way I approach a tutoring session is I spend a significant amount of time trying to understand the student struggles and then I vigorously work with the student, honing in on the most trouble spots first, since those are the areas where the student can make the greatest improvements. My biggest strength in teaching is my ability to adapt to a students needs based on how i feel or perceive the students retention of the topics. If a student is struggling, I am quick to try and present the student with the same topic but from a different angle.I hope that I can provide you with excellent services!

I am a graduate of New York University (NYU) where I received a B.A in Economics and Math. After spending a year at Harvard I began my Phd in economics at Columbia University in 2019. My motivations for becoming a tutor stem from the relationships I built with educators during my time as a student. It is because of the support I received from my teachers, professors, and tutors that I have such a strong passion for academia. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and I have also taken coursework in various disciplines of mathematics and business. During college, I gained experience tutoring in two primary ways. First, I was the teaching assistant for one of Clark's Linear Algebra courses. As the teaching assistant, I held office hours for the students enrolled in the course, during which they could come to me with any questions related to the lectures, homework, or exams. I also have experience teaching middle school students through the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program in the Worcester Public School system. While participating in the AVID program, I tutored a variety of subjects including Biology, History, English, Algebra, and Geometry. While I have experience in a broad range of subjects, I am particularly passionate about the fields of Mathematics and Economics.

I hold a B.S. in Economics and Finance from Florida State University and am currently a law student at Emory University. I have experience tutoring as well as editing essays for college admission, standardized tests, and scholarships. I have visited several countries in South America and studied abroad in the United Kingdom as part of the Fulbright Scotland Summer Institute.

I am a newcomer to Miami from New York City. I went to college at a small liberal arts school in Pennsylvania, where I studied Economics and played varsity soccer. Since college, I applied my Economics degree to the financial field, gaining a wealth of experience in Investment Banking and Trading, Leveraged Debt, and Private Equity for a prestigious Hedge Fund in NYC. I will be attending business school this fall concentrating in Entrepreneurship and have already been accepted into all 8 of the schools I have applied. I have a passion for teaching, coaching and mentoring others, and I can't wait to help each one of you reach your personal goals and realize your potential. I have an extremely high aptitude for quantitative subjects, and I am a great writer. As I have recently taken the GMAT exam and scored in the 90+ percentile across all areas, I would love to help someone who is thinking about graduate school, but I thoroughly enjoy teaching all subjects and ages.
