My interest in education and teaching began when I first started nannying when I was 14 years old helping kids with homework and continues to this very day with a love of academia, science and self improvement. I also have several years of experience in working with special needs children and adults, which I believe gives me a special understanding of all types of challenges and the patience required.I am in the process of earning a degree in Neuroscience at the University of Cincinnati.My favorite subjects are definitely science-based, though I also thoroughly enjoy and have a lot of experience in writing and reading comprehension.I love the challenges of learning and helping others understand new things.I am committed to helping others fully understand the academic challenges they need help with and finding a way to assist in a way that makes learning fun and easy, with a focus on a no-shame policy of being confident in your abilities and unafraid to ask for help. I have recently completed my undergraduate studies and I am currently a P1 pharmacy student. I have had numerous opportunities to tutor students of various ages primarily in subjects that pertain to my program of study, especially chemistry. Throughout my years of study, I have come to the realization that only after meticulous examination of all the possible scenarios and exceptions of a particular phenomenon can we recognize patterns that may have facilitated our initial attempt to understand it in the first place. As a tutor, I hope to serve as a guide that aids students in discerning such patterns and integrating concepts to achieve a thorough and holistic understanding of the subject being studied. Besides tutoring, I enjoy playing the piano and cello, biking, and reading.

Since my introduction to the subject, chemistry has intrigued me. I believe the subject can be fun, easy, and useful. In tutoring, I hope to help others see chemistry this way. I have experience tutoring and seem to get students to understand concepts. My belief is that most students can consistently get the right solutions with a little practice and sometimes help thinking in the right direction.

I graduated with an English degree from Xavier University in 2023 and have been volunteering and working as a tutor for about 7 years. I am currently a full time nanny but still open for tutoring opportunities. Working to support passionate young students is something that I truly care about and finding that spark when they understand something is the best feeling in the world. Proficient understanding of reading and writing improves education, but it should also boost confidence in students and their learning abilities. I love teaching students how to form creative ideas and write about them because writing about what you know and love creates a different type of self-assurance. It's important for all students to listen and understand while also being heard. I hope I can be of help to students struggling with ELA, reading, writing composition, or anything else there may be troubles in.

I believe that true knowledge is attained only by striving and struggling with guidance from those who have done it before. There is no subject matter or concept that cannot be attained by a person who is willing to put in the time and effort to gain the higher level of understanding. My goal is to guide students in their path of learning in subject areas that I have traversed in the past.I am, and always will be a student. I am currently learning Arabic and also using online courses to teach myself core topics in computer science. To teach the student, I really try to put myself in his or her place. From there, I can map out the strategy to reach a level of understanding for a given topic.I am really passionate about Mathematics and really see tutoring as a way to keep those core concepts I learned in school alive in my mind. I look forward to bringing the passion and excitement for the subject area to my students.

I have been teaching piano for over twenty years. In that time if have taught students of all ages and all levels. I am a classically trained pianist with several degrees and extensive performing experience. I'd love to pass on that training to my students. I have had students participate in and won prizes in several festivals and competitions.

I graduated in 2014 from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Human Nutrition. My interests included ceramic art, watching movies, hiking, and doing community service. Last year, I did a year of service with AmeriCorps here in Cincinnati. I worked with high school students and enjoyed the continuous challenges they provided. I have a plethora of tutoring experience in college where I did peer tutoring and mentored middle school students in an after-school program. I have a total of 4 years of experience working with students form first grade to 12th grade. My favorite subjects to teach are middle school math, critical reading, and nutrition. I graduated from Summit Country Day School in 2010 where I ran cross-country and track.I thoroughly enjoy helping students as they tackle difficult problems. I believe my previous experience tutoring, my patient manner, and my ability to direct students' attention makes me a great tutor.

I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2014 with a B.A. in Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology. I moved to Santiago, Chile in July of 2014 to teach English, but I have recently returned home to Cincinnati.I discovered my love of tutoring and teaching while volunteering as a tutor for Cincinnati Public Schools when I was a high school student. I continued to tutor while I was an undergraduate at Wash U working in elementary schools in the St. Louis public school system. After graduating, my love of teaching carried me to South America to teach English in a small class setting and tutor individuals on the side.I strongly believe that no two students are the same and that teachers and tutors must be willing to explore different approaches with different students to maximize student potential.When I am not tutoring, I enjoy skiing, camping, playing basketball and listening to music.

In 2010, I graduated from The Ohio State University with degrees in Astronomy, Physics, and Russian.
