For the past seven years, I have had the opportunity to tutor students in a variety of subjects. From elementary school to college, each age group brings about its own joys and rewards. I pride myself on truly taking the time to assess the strength of my clients and to search for areas that may need improvement. As an occupational therapy student, I have been trained in how to break down seemingly daunting subjects into simpler terms, and this has yielded success in my previous clients. By making each subject relatable and implementing a variety of instructional methods, I hope to foster a deeper understanding of course content in my students and provide them with general study tips which can be applied to all subjects and assignments.

I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. I love anything math and science related as well as Spanish, which I studied for 5 years from eighth grade until my senior year in high school. Along with Spanish, I have a real passion for calculus and physics. Aside from academics, I have logged more than 500 community service hours in various mission trips and local organizations that I have worked with throughout the years. I look forward to working with any and all students that decide to hire me as their tutor, and will make it my personal goal to see them grow into an individual that masters the material we work on!

Hi, my name is Nick and I'm a recent graduate from the country's #1 MA program at the University of Chicago.As a University tutor, I've worked with every one from first graders to PhD students.I'm an expert in the humanities and anything that involves reading or writing -- including history, literature, philosophy, and more!I also have several years of experience working with children and have taught in elementary and middle school in low income neighbourhoods on South Side Chicago schools!
