I will be a sophomore at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business in the fall with a 3.93 GPA. I have had multiple experiences in tutoring various subjects related to mathematics, statistics, economics, and accounting throughout high school and college. I largely work on the quantitative characterization of volcanic deposits and products in order to understand the dynamics of the eruptive events that produced them. I am currently post-doctoral Associate Research Assistant in the School of Earth and Space Exploration at Arizona State University, working in the research group led by Prof. Amanda Clarke. I was born in Sardinia (Italy), and I achieved my Master at the Universita degli Studi di Cagliari in 2005. I am a geology major and focused my interest on volcanology and igneous petrology, with particular interest to explosive eruption physical processes. I achieved my PhD at the Universite de Geneve (Switzerland) under the supervision of prof. Costanza Bonadonna and working mainly on volcanic particle characterization, dynamics of magma fragmentation and tephra dispersal and sedimentation

As a Tutor, my motto has always been, "Every student is special and unique in their own way." Therefore, each student learns differently and at their own pace and because of this I sometimes use special education resources to work with some struggling students. I believe every student is a winner!! In the past, as a Tutor for No Child Left Behind Program, I specialized in working with students struggling with phonics or other aspects of reading or comprehension. I reminded them how they can be motivated and conquer any lesson concept. I would always tell them to say like the Little Engine, trying to accomplish going up and over the hill, "I think I Can, I Know I Can."
