~ The Technion Institute of Technology; Faculty of Medicine - Doctor of Medicine (11/23)~ Mercer University Graduate School - Master of Public Health degree candidate (2023)~ CUNY Brooklyn College (05/2014) - Bachelor of Arts in BiologyHi!Thank you for allowing me to introduce myself. Recently, I graduated from medical school, and I am currently in my initial training (internship year) to become a pediatric oncologist. The two major passions I have in my life have always been medicine and education, especially about the training of students and the teaching of students effectively. I especially love to work with students on taking standardized exams.I am so glad to be a part of this community. I absolutely love teaching and always have. My track record speaks for itself. Over the past 11 years, I have been working as a hired and private tutor for both schools and private clients. During this time, I worked with students of all ages, ranging from middle school students to physicians preparing for the licensing examination of medical schools. My experience tutoring at many places and circumstances has given me a lot of knowledge and experience about the process of learning and how to help my students succeed in all their areas, especially the one they are most interested in.The goal for me is to give my students skills and knowledge that will be useful for them beyond one subject or exam. This is especially useful for students who have some school left. Earlier students have always appreciated this, and it has proven to be very successful. I am looking forward to working with students here at Varsity, and I am confident in my ability to get any student through the semester/exam etc. have the same skills and knowledge to all of you here at Varsity. I am very much looking forward!A bit about me. I attended CUNY Brooklyn College and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology here.I have completed medical school and simultaneously earned a masters in public health degree from Mercer University. I attended the Technion Institute of Technology Faculty of Medicine in Israel for my medical studies, and beginning the process to begin residency. (Grad was August 2023).Professionally I was hired as a tutor for biology chemistry physics, especially the MCAT exam by my undergrad university for three years.Additionally, I founded my own tutoring business over ten years ago that was focused to the community. I grew up in which did not have many opportunities to pursue academic higher education. This opportunity to share my passion for teaching has been incredibly rewarding for me.My tutoring process is student-centered with an emphasis on each student's learning style to help them achieve higher levels of success. As an educator, I am extremely passionate about what I do, and I look forward to assisting students in flourishing academically in the future.

I am a graduate of the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. I then graduated from Parkland College with an Associate in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. I am currently a graduate student, getting my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy with a Specialization in Child and Adolescent Family Therapy. I am dedicated to helping in any way I can. I have been a CVT for 15 years, working in an ER for 11 of those years. It was an exciting experience and I learned so much about veterinary medicine. Since my hospital is a teaching hospital I had many opportunities to help both veterinarian interns and veterinary technician students learn as we helped care for our patients. I have a passion for biology and the life sciences. I enjoy showing students how to look at their studies in a new way, helping them make more sense of what they are learning. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, dancing, playing with my daughter, and spoiling my 4 cats. I look forward to working with you.

I am someone who has always loved helping people learn. Watching another person undergo the "AHA" moment is one of the best experiences, I believe, someone can have.I have taught briefly at the high school level and assisted at the graduate level, and I have found that I am skilled at adjusting and catering my teaching abilities to students with different past experiences that require different ways of learning. I am currently a practicing biostatistician and a PhD student in biostatistics at the University of Massachusetts, at Amherst.I am excited about the opportunity to help others learn.

Hi, I'm Andrew. I work as a graduate researcher in a neuroscience lab at Washington University. Along the way, I've taught students in classes ranging from introductory biology courses to graduate-level neuroscience classes. In all of these classes, I've enjoyed working with students individually to help them achieve their goals, whether it's writing a term paper, mastering brain anatomy, or learning statistical methods. I also realize that standardized tests can be incredibly stressful, so I also enjoy working with students to give them the tools needed to confidently tackle these assessments.Outside of working in the lab and teaching, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and exploring the parks of St. Louis with my dog.

Anatomy & Physiology Tutor • +16 Subjects
I am currently a medical student pursuing a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree at University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. I just finished my third year and am about to embark on a teaching fellowship at UNE where I will be directly teaching the first and second year medical students in anatomy and clinical skills. I've been teaching most of my life, however. I started teaching children of all ages how to swim when I was 12, and have been doing so since. I also have been supporting and helping my classmates succeed throughout my academic career. In particular, I tutor the sciences in all levels, particularly biology, anatomy, and physiology. I can also help prepare for standardized exams such as the SAT (both math and verbal), MCAT, and board examinations for medical school.Education, I believe, is the stepping stone to an amazing career and a fulfilling life and I hope to inspire all of my students to continue their pursuit of knowledge, regardless of grade level. The process of learning is fun, but also the multitude of things out there to learn are incredible. I love looking at things like bridges and airplanes and thinking about the brilliant minds who came up with a way to cross expansive rivers and oceans. I also am constantly amazed by the human body and what it accomplishes every day. My passion is sharing this excitement about learning and inspiring others to find the same joy.My teaching process involves getting to know my students' passions and interests so we can illustrate tough concepts and skills through that lens. I also love to come up with funny memory devices so that things are never forgotten! Overall, I love and am enthusiastic about teaching and look forward to helping you succeed!
