I am a 2019 graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, where I received a dual degree BFA in Vocal Performance and BA in Creative Writing. I also achieved a GPA of 3.92, 3 semesters on the Dean's List, induction into Phi Beta Kappa as well as Sigma Tau Delta (the English honors society) and Pi Kappa Lambda (the Music honors society), Carnegie Mellon University Honors, and Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences Honors. I graduated Bloomfield Hills High School with a 3.96 GPA in 2015, and was a National Merit Finalist as well as a Presidential Scholarship candidate, thanks to my top test scores.

I am a current first-year honors student at Northeastern University pursuing a B.A. in Political Science and a B.A. in History, Culture, and Law. I am a youth activist and have experience working for campaigns and elected officials and am particularly passionate about mental health, climate change prevention, and LGBTQ+ rights. I have done private tutoring for the past three years with students in Elementary, Middle, and High School in a variety of school subjects including but not limited to Math, History, and Writing/Grammar. I hold a Masters of Arts in English from the University of Connecticut, where I am currently working on my PhD in American Literature. I tutor a mix of test preparation, English, Literature, and Writing. In helping students with reading and writing skills, I enjoy using multiple different approaches to develop a well-rounded understanding of the techniques, while making the sessions fun. I'm a strong proponent of keeping studying dynamic. It is important to me that my students come away from our sessions with not only the scores or grades they desire, but a deeper understanding of the topics and skills that will continue to benefit them beyond test day. In my spare time I love long runs, singing, hiking, and reading.

I am a current graduate student at Boston University getting my Masters of Science in Medical Sciences and will be applying to medical school this year. I also received a Bachelors in Biology from Boston College. I am passionate about inclusion for students with developmental delays and have done clinical research in this field. I have had experience teaching students as young as 5th grade to students in high school and college. Although I have degrees in the sciences and have recent exposure to human biology courses, I am also knowledgeable in other subjects such as English grammar and Reading Comprehension.

I am currently a Ph.D. student at Harvard University in the department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology.

I am extremely passionate about the material, and enjoy tutoring as a way of keeping Biology in my life. While in school I tutored for a student-run nonprofit called Chance tutoring, In this role I tutored middle and High school students in subjects ranging from statistics to SAT prep. I also taught two Chemistry 101 lab sections. In addition to my teaching experience I scored a 41 on the MCAT as well as a 1440 on the SAT(don't remember my writing score). I tutor MCAT because I understand that studying for the test can often seem like a steep mountain to climb. I understand the importance placed on doing well and how stressful it can be for prospective physicians. I am eager to share my test taking strategies as well as help students to learn and understand the material itself. In college, I coordinated outreach to promising underrepresented minority students, developing and implementing seminars designed to guide them through the admissions process for top universities, bolster their chances of success, and connect them with resources aimed at increasing access and affordability. Among other things, I have a strong background and experience in various types of academic and professional writing. My stints with college classes and all sorts of professional organizations have equipped me with foundational skills in technical writing, strategic communication, blogging, and journalism that I'm always excited to pass on to the next generation of academic superstars!
