I am a graduate of the University of California, San Diego. I received my Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry. I am currently studying for the MCAT and preparing for medical school applications to one day become a physician. During my undergraduate schooling, I worked with and mentored high school students through a program with the university and their cancer center, to promote higher learning in disadvantaged and underrepresented minority students. This ultimately will increase the number of minorities in biomedical research. Working with students and empowering their minds is uplifting because it is wonderful to be able to promote a fun environment while encouraging the students to stay focused in their education.
