I am a rising junior at Princeton University pursuing a Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy with a certificate in Statistics and Machine Learning. I am highly passionate about education: during the academic year, I serve as a volunteer tutor for the Petey Greene Program, which provides educational assistance to those incarcerated in New Jersey prisons; after graduation, I hope to work toward becoming a high school mathematics teacher. This summer, I am interning part-time at IntegrateNYC4me, a nonprofit that seeks to integrate New York schools. I believe that quality educational opportunities should be accessible to all, and I hope to dedicate my career toward realizing this vision!

I am currently a graduate student at Institute of Optics at the University of Rochester conducting research in Biophysical Chemistry. I recently graduated in June 2017 from the University of California - Irvine with two Bachelor degrees. One was in Biomedical Engineering and the other was in Materials Science and Engineering. With two engineering degrees, I feel comfortable working with students in all realms of Math and Science.

I am a Senior at the University of Florida studying Industrial Engineering and Statistics. My areas of expertise include Statistics, High School and College level Math, and Government. I emphasize maintaining trust and steady communication with my students to maintain a healthy and comfortable learning environment. I believe developing micro-goals and positively reinforcing students help them stay motivated and excited.

I'm referring to math, of course, but I didn't always like the subject. Until about age 16, I thought of math as a boring, mind-numbing process of blindly memorizing formulas and then forgetting them after the test, but a series of wonderful teachers showed me the truth. I had thought that everything in math was invented arbitrarily just to torture students, but actually it all made sense in a deep way. When I caught a glimpse of what math really was, I found it irresistible and I ended up majoring in math in college at UChicago. I'm currently a Master's student in Computer Science at NYU.

I am a recent American University graduate with a BS in Biology and I will be attending the University of Pennsylvania next year to begin my PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology. After completion of my doctorate degree, I aspire to be a university-level professor with both research and teaching responsibilities, and so I welcome any and all opportunities to teach and empower students of any age. I worked for American University's Academic Support and Access Center (ASAC) for 3 years as a private peer-tutor for students and student-athletes and have experience tutoring Math (Calculus, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Geometry, Algebra 1, and Statistics) and Science (General Biology I/II, Cell Biology, and Evolution). I also have a firm grasp on and have informally tutored in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Developmental Biology, Organic Chemistry I/II, and Physics I/II. I am happy to provide references and transcripts upon request!

I particularly enjoy tutoring for the SAT and other standardized tests, because I believe that with enough practice and some solid test-taking strategies, anyone can master these. As a former Division I runner, I've learned the importance of persistence and hard work, and I love sharing these values with my students and helping them to make significant gains. Outside of tutoring, I work as a scientist at a healthcare startup, and when I'm not at work I'm likely to be found running around Central Park, debating public policy, or practicing my cooking skills.

I am a graduate student of University of Memphis, USA. After completing my schooling I am working in Mathematics. It been a beautiful, peaceful, adventurous and good learning time. I completed my bachelors in Mathematics honors from Delhi University, India and then masters from IIT Bombay, India. Both of the institutes are top institutes of India and their course structure and referred book helped in building strong basics and developing the interest even deeper. After completing masters I joined Tata Consultancy services as senior data analyst but in starting few months only I realized I want to pursue PhD. So I joined University of Memphis in spring 2017.
