Certified Tutor

I am a student at the University of Texas at Austin. I am majoring in Environmental Engineering Honors, English Honors, and Plan 2 Honors (an interdisciplinary liberal arts degree). I have tutored high school students in Algebra 2, Pre-calculus, Calculus BC AP, Physics 1 AP and Chemistry AP over the past three years. Additionally, I regularly participate in volunteering where I help elementary school children with their reading and assigned homework. I tutor Math, Algebra, Algebra 2, AP Calculus BC, Environmental Science, AP Biology English, and High School English. I tailor my tutoring style to the client, using my understanding of how they think and learn to teach them in the way that is most effective for them. Additionally, I use a broad range of techniques from real-world application to walk through practice problems to ensure they fully understand the concepts behind what is taught and are able to accomplish given tasks for that topic. Whenever I have free time, I often enjoy playing soccer, swimming, writing, and reading.
