I am a graduate student at the Harvard School of Public Health living, working, and studying in Boston, MA. I have a passion for people and for learning. Specifically, I have studied Spanish for ten years, and graduated from Bucknell University with a degree in Spanish in 2014. I have served as a teaching assistant for a class of ESL kindergarteners and have lived abroad in Costa Rica and Mexico. I am comfortable with students of all ages and ability levels in Spanish, and also available for ESL tutoring. I also have a degree in Biology, and my current graduate school program and research incorporate a lot of statistics. Therefore, I am also comfortable with tutoring in high school and undergraduate level biology and statistics. I am available most evenings and weekends. I am a youth activist and have experience working for campaigns and elected officials and am particularly passionate about mental health, climate change prevention, and LGBTQ+ rights. I am currently a Finance major at Boston College. I graduated from the United World College in Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. At this school, my interest in tutoring and getting to know different people was ignited when I started tutoring non-native English speakers. I learned to be patient while teaching new subjects and to cater to the needs and interests of my students. I have lots of experience taking standardized tests such as the ACT and AP tests and would love to spread my knowledge to my tutees in an exciting and dynamic way.

I am a recent Duke University graduate where I studied Financial Economics. I have extensive experience in tutoring maths and sciences as well as standardized test prep. Outside of work, I love to spend time with my corgi and explore the city of Boston!

I am a graduate of Cornell University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a Minor in Music. I hold a Masters of Arts in English from the University of Connecticut, where I am currently working on my PhD in American Literature. I tutor a mix of test preparation, English, Literature, and Writing. In helping students with reading and writing skills, I enjoy using multiple different approaches to develop a well-rounded understanding of the techniques, while making the sessions fun. I'm a strong proponent of keeping studying dynamic. It is important to me that my students come away from our sessions with not only the scores or grades they desire, but a deeper understanding of the topics and skills that will continue to benefit them beyond test day. In my spare time I love long runs, singing, hiking, and reading.

I am a current graduate student at Boston University getting my Masters of Science in Medical Sciences and will be applying to medical school this year. I also received a Bachelors in Biology from Boston College. I am passionate about inclusion for students with developmental delays and have done clinical research in this field. I have had experience teaching students as young as 5th grade to students in high school and college. Although I have degrees in the sciences and have recent exposure to human biology courses, I am also knowledgeable in other subjects such as English grammar and Reading Comprehension.

I am very dedicated to being patient and working with each student to make sure they understand what they are doing and so they are able to be less stressed.
