I am a mother, a full-time high school math teacher, and generally have a love for life and being around young people. I love mathematics and enjoy sharing my passion with others. I also enjoy helping people overcome obstacles to their goals like breaking socio-economic barriers, all of which I did to become who I am today!

I am a current undergraduate student at Texas A&M University where I am pursuing my BA in History with a minor in Secondary Education. I am most passionate about history and reading although I have worked extensively in tutoring math at the elementary and middle school level. As a recent graduate of high school I am experienced in SAT prep particularly in boosting testing speed and utilizing testing strategies. I believe in highly individualized programs based on student needs since everyone learns differently.

Hello, my name is Casey and I am a wildlife biologist by trade. Until recently, I had been working internationally as a wildlife biologist with a nonprofit organization, contracted through U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services on the island of Rota, in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. On this island I discovered a passion for outreach and education through guest lectures at the high school located on the island. So, when I returned to Texas I decided to go back to school for a masters in secondary education with a teaching certificate. I am currently between semesters and working towards my goal of being able to teach and share my passion for wildlife, biology, and environmental sciences. I have the most experience with high school age and younger students, but I am always up for a student that will challenge me to learn and grow myself. I look forward to meeting new students to learn and teach with.
