Sometimes a little extra help is needed just to see the bigger picture. The world of English is more than simply reading and writing, my hope is to make it more fun than what you think it is.

I am pursuing a bachelor's at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in pure math and physics. I have been tutoring for a little over a year and I love seeing students grow in their math capabilities. I tutor many math and physics subjects but my favorite is calculus 1 because of how much students' perspectives of math change while taking the course. I have scored well on the SAT and many AP exams.

I graduated with a B.S. in Economics from the University of North Texas. I am currently a middle school math teacher, though I am proficient in a wide variety of mathematics-related domains.

I recently graduate from Texas A&M University with a BS in Psychology. I am passionate about each and every subject that I teach. I enjoy helping others to succeed and I am a firm believer that any subject can be tackled with a little perspective, hard-work, and dedication. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development from The University of Texas and a Master in Education Administration from Dallas Baptist University. While I have just recently retired from a 28-year career in education, I am still passionate about helping students achieve their personal best. I believe that all students can learn; They just may not be able to master concepts on the same day and in the same way as their peers. As a tutor, I get the distinct privilege of figuring out what is causing the student to struggle and support the child in overcoming the challenge. My goal is for the student to not only master content but to learn effective strategies that can be employed in new learning situations as well as build the self-confidence needed to be an independent learner.

As far as I can remember, I've been the go-to guy when you wanted help with a subject, whether it was advanced mathematical concepts during my Bachelors Degree days, or software engineering principals in my Masters degree program. It was for this reason that I was specifically picked out by one of my professors to be his teaching assistant for two semesters of classes before I graduated. So confident was he in my skills that he was able to go around the requirement that TA-ships be only handed out to Phd level students.After graduating with a Master's Degree in Computer Sciences from the University of Texas at Arlington, I've been involved in a number of software development jobs including my current one in a Fortune 100 company. I can can back up my academic knowledge with extensive industry experience. However I haven't lost touch with teaching as I'm still called upon by friends for consultation about software engineering and design concepts.I'm computer enthusiast enjoys tinkering with hardware and software in my spare time and am pretty confident in my computer science teaching abilities. And since math goes hand in hand with computers, I'm well versed in math subjects as well.

After graduating from college with a degree in Finance, I spent several years in the business world. However, my true passions have always been doing Mathematics and working with children. I went back to school to become a teacher, and it was the best decision I've ever made. This is my eleventh year of teaching, and I can't imagine doing anything else. I had the fortune of having wonderful teachers that made learning math both fun and interesting. It is my goal to provide that same experience to all of my students. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy doing arts and crafts, sewing, and needlework. I also love listening to classic rock and spending time with my dogs.
