Dr. Tony Prensa lives in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Prensa has over 30 years of working experience with more than 30 years in management/leadership and technical roles. Dr. Prensa holds a bachelor's degree in computer sciences, a master's degree in business administration with a major in technology management, a master's degree in business administration with a major in functional management, and a doctoral degree in organizational leadership and management with major in information systems and technologies. He also holds a master's degree in project management and several professional certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, Six Sigma Green Belt, ITIL IV Foundations certification, and a certification in information systems and computing from the Institute of Certification of Computing Professionals (ICCP).Dr. Presna's professional career and experience have been expanded in a myriad of industries such as banking, telecommunications, retail, logistics, government, and distribution. He has managed large programs/projects and strategic initiatives with teams of all sizes including collocated and virtual teams. He has participated in evaluating and selecting solution providers; developing contracts/statements of work; developing and implementing information systems; and conducting contracts negotiation for a myriad of projects. His teaching experience surpasses 25 years using both traditional and online instruction modes.

I am currently a student in the University of Central Florida pursuing a Marketing and Communications degree. I tutored for many years throughout high school with various school organizations, such as the National Honor Society and Spanish Club. In the field of mathematics, I spent several years tutoring Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, and Algebra II. Besides math, I also helped an array of students throughout my high school career with Spanish subjects. I took all the Spanish classes offered in my school, including AP Spanish Lang, AP Spanish Lit, and Cambridge's AICE Spanish. I passed both AP tests with a 5 and the Cambridge test with an A. I am fluent in Spanish and capable of teaching in English, Spanish, or both languages.

I currently work as a kindergarten teacher. A position in which I am able to create a hands-on, active, and creative environment that focuses on each child's individual learning needs. Prior to my current position, I taught 5th grade and was the assistant coach for the Math Olympiad team. These experiences, as well as my background as a paraprofessional working with disabled and non-verbal students, have enabled me to develop a unique teaching style that is supportive of the diverse learning styles and needs of all students. Throughout my education experience, I have been able to polish my people skills, thus improving collaboration with fellow educators, communication with parents, and individual interactions with children.Teaching and working with children is a passion I developed early on in life, practicing and perfecting many of my techniques on my neighborhood friends. For the past 5 years, I have tutored students in reading/writing to prepare them for the standardized test, and in Spanish for second language enrichment. I have also tutored high school students on the SAT ELA test component. I specialized in high-speed aerodynamic flow, specifically to test rocket engine exit nozzle conditions.I have always had a passion for math and teaching. I am currently majoring in Biomedical Sciences and I am aim to graduate in the year 2019.I am currently involved in many leadership and peer leading positions at the University of South Florida. I am a Resident Assistant, Vice President of the Jamaican Alliance Movement and former Executive Vice President of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. In these leadership positions I have gained a passion for learning and understanding the way things work. I realize it helps me to wok better and optimizes success for myself and others when I know what to do, how to do and why I do the things that I should.I also apply this same strategy to my studies. I currently have a 3.92 GPA at the University of South Florida and attribute this achievement to my devotion to understanding and grasping my subject in its entirety.
