Hello! I recently graduated from Binghamton University and received my Bachelor's Degree in the major Politics, Philosophy, and Law. Additionally, I have accepted admission to law school next fall. Despite this, I have always had a love for teaching so I have taken this time to pursue one of my passions. I have prior experience teaching one on one at the elementary school level. This experience has allowed me to navigate online teaching. My main focus as a tutor is to keep the student engaged and focused using our online platform. I really enjoy working with students of all ages. My philosophy is that we need to encourage children to step out of their comfort zone and gain confidence in themselves. Whether it be in or outside of the classroom! The subjects I enjoy teaching the most are English, Writing, Math, and History! I hope not only to influence students to excel in school but also to gain the tools to be the best versions of themselves!

Since graduation, I have taught students in Chester, Philadelphia, and now Pine Hill, NJ. Currently, I teach 6-8th grade science/STEAM and have experience tutoring grades 6-8 in multiple subjects. I have a strong passion for science and making sure students feel confident and comfortable tackling even the most complex content. No curiosity is too small to be explored! I believe that education and knowledge are our greatest tools for changing the world. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and crafting.

I have worked with kids as young as preschool and as old as high school, but my focus has been mostly on elementary and middle school aged students. I am excellent with kids who are reluctant or don't like school at all. My focus is on finding their strengths and using those to help their weaknesses.Besides teaching and tutoring, I am a published choral composer, with over 25 pieces in publication at this time. I love all forms of music. I also love to play tennis, and when I'm not teaching or composing, you will find me on the tennis court.I am excited about each new student I meet, and I can't wait to meet your child next!

Whether that concrete be performing 2 years below grade level or struggling to master a new concept, as a teacher it is my job to be the fertilizer, to help them get pass whatever difficulties they may face. As a tutor I strive to be that same support. My students will do more than memorize information, they will learn and take ownership of the material. With hard work and resilience I believe anything can me mastered, and I will work with my students till they see this too.As a graduate from the prestigious University of Florida, academic excellence is one of my strong suits.
