I studied at Florida International University and received both my bachelor's and master's degrees of science in the field of nutrition and dietetics. I knew since my teenage years that nutrition was my absolute passion in life. The path of nutrition and dietetics was a doorway into a whole world of opportunity and I want to share that with as many people as possible. Every nutrition class I took made me all the more engrossed by all the possibilities of being a registered dietitian nutritionist. I am happy to report I am a certified registered dietitian! I know firsthand how hard it can be to learn new topics. I spent many hours teaching myself through undergrad and grad school. Most of the time, hour-long lectures didn't do anything to help me understand. Therefore, I'd spent several hours going through the material by myself, breaking down the subjects in a way that I could understand. I believe one of the best ways to learn is to have real-life examples that actually relate to you. Thank goodness nutrition is filled with a ton of real-life examples! I am a graduate of Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. I received a Bachelor of Science in Applied and Computational Mathematics, along with a minor in Physics. In the near future, I will be attending the University of California, Berkeley to obtain a Masters degree in Financial Engineering. Throughout my years as an undergraduate, I tutored many students in all subjects of mathematics. I am most passionate and experienced in Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and Trigonometry.
