I am currently studying molecular biology and I hope to work at a pediatric hospital after graduating from medical school. As an undergraduate, I am involved in volunteering organizations, photography, dance companies, and Asian-American political organizations.

I am a rising senior at Harvard College pursuing an AB in Government. Academically, I have diverse interests, including history, language, math, physics, philosophy, music, and politics. In high school, I tutored elementary, middle, and high school students in music, math, ACT and SAT prep, and Spanish. At Harvard, I spent a year as a course assistant in the math department, helping to teach introductory undergraduate calculus. Currently, I volunteer with the Leadership Institute at Harvard College (LIHC) as part of its Social Outreach Committee. This work involves teaching a weekly course called "Fundamentals of Leadership" to a class of middle school students. Overall, I have found my experiences tutoring math to be the most rewarding.

I am currently a student at Yale University. I'm a prospective Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology major on the pre-med track. Throughout high school, I have tutored students in a vast variety of subjects through National Honors Society. I have also worked with ESL students through Spanish Honors Society. As a college student, I have taught various interactive science subjects to New Haven elementary students over zoom as part of the Demos organization. In addition to academic subjects, I have also privately tutored students in violin. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Math and English. In my experience, helping students prepare for Standardized Tests and classroom subjects is the most rewarding. It's unforgettable to see a student's tangible progress, and to help them conquer their difficulties!!

I am a 2019 graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, where I received a dual degree BFA in Vocal Performance and BA in Creative Writing. I also achieved a GPA of 3.92, 3 semesters on the Dean's List, induction into Phi Beta Kappa as well as Sigma Tau Delta (the English honors society) and Pi Kappa Lambda (the Music honors society), Carnegie Mellon University Honors, and Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences Honors. I graduated Bloomfield Hills High School with a 3.96 GPA in 2015, and was a National Merit Finalist as well as a Presidential Scholarship candidate, thanks to my top test scores.

I'm a recent graduate of Harvard University, I've been tutoring for about five years now. I come from a public high school of 240 students in middle-of-nowhere rural Connecticut. Plain and simple: I wouldn't have made it to Harvard without finding a way to enjoy studying for the SATs and other tests. My goal is to share that enthusiasm with my students. The test might be frustrating, and it might seem pointless, but I insist that every hour spent on SAT prep is a priceless investment in your future. (...and I have an economics minor!) I am an undergraduate at Yale University. I am pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on fluid mechanics and energy conversion. I have tutoring experience from my senior year in high school, when I ran my own test prep and tutoring service for sophomores and juniors. Most of my experience is in SAT and ACT test prep, but I have also done tutoring in the maths and sciences and English composition. While I am a Mechanical Engineering major, I have always had a profound appreciation for great literature and for writing good English, and I would love to pass that along to all of my students. Whenever I tutor, my main objective is not simply to plant more knowledge in the student's mind, but to give them a greater understanding of broader fields of inquiry, so that they reach a greater understanding of how the different academic domains are connected and interdependent. Outside of academics, I am a Midshipman in the Navy ROTC program at my school and hope to someday serve as a Submarine Officer in the Pacific. I am also a member of the Yale Glee Club, the Yale Club Soccer Team, and the Freshmen Outdoor Orientation Trip program at Yale. In my spare time, I enjoy running marathons, learning songs on the piano, and reading.

Born and raised just outside of Minneapolis, I am excited to be tutoring in the area.
