I graduated with the my Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and my MBA. I love mathematics and constantly get amazed by its power to explain the universe. It is through this endeavor that I landed myself in the field of engineering, and I became an Electrical Engineer. I sincerely believe that knowledge expands by sharing with others. So, I became a tutor and strive to make my students as excited about Mathematics as I am!

I graduated from University of Colorado-Boulder in May 2014 with Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude in Physics with a second major in English. Since graduation, I have worked for the Physics Education Research Group at JILA and helped run and organize Partnerships for Informal Science Education in the Community, a inquiry-based physics education program that focuses on espousing scientific principles throughout the community and making physics and physicists more accessible to elementary and middle school students. I am well-versed in a wide array of subjects, primarily in Physics, Math, and English. At CU-Boulder, my dualistic double major provided me with interaction with many different walks of life as well as learning and teaching styles, in both primarily objective and primarily subjective fields. As such, I am extremely well-equipped to tutor students whose academic focus or optimal learning style does not necessarily align best with the subject at hand. I am also happy to tutor for the Physics GRE, a test that budding physicists are required to take that is very unlike any physics test required throughout college, and I have created extensive resources for this test in my own studies. Outside of academic pursuits, I am an avid outdoorsman, particularly in rock climbing, a guitarist, and a published poet.

I've been a mathematics teacher for the past 16 years teaching basic math through Level 1 calculus from middle school to college level.I've always enjoyed tutoring young teens through adults. It's gratifying to watch students work hard and succeed in math.I have just retired from teaching so my availability has increased considerably.

I get so excited about discovering the great stories of past events and people, and then passing that passion to my students. Whenever I teach essay-writing or creative writing, I can't wait to read all the creative ideas that my students surprise me with. There are so many simple tricks to writing amazing essays an stories that I love to share!Whenever I'm not teaching or planning fun activities and lessons, I can be found hiking, camping, watching one of my many favorite TV shows, practicing martial arts, attending comic conventions, traveling overseas, or reading comic books and novels.I believe every student can succeed.
