Along with the tutoring practicum, I also completed many teaching practicums in various school districts. In the past few years, I have had the opportunity to assist with an exceptional needs dance class in which I helped the girls master their dance moves as well as express themselves through movement. I am currently completing the student teaching portion of my major and plan to graduate this upcoming May. Aside from teaching experience, I had worked for two summers at the YMCA day camp where I learned many teaching and management strategies for collaborating with students. I tutor any elementary level subject as well as any special education. However, my favorite subjects to tutor are math and English! When I'm not studying or learning how to be a teacher, I like anything to do with sports. My favorite sport teams are the Steelers, Pirates, and the USA men's soccer team, but any type of sport will do. I love the competitive nature and good fun that sports bring. My favorite sport to play is volleyball.
