Currently, I am a freshman at the University of Pittsburgh looking to pursue the pre-med track as a Neuroscience major. I studied at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where I received a Bachelor of Science in International Business and was equipped with a comprehensive knowledge of implementation of ethical behavior and strong leadership skills.After I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, I worked as a Program Manager at the Global Education Institution in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. In this role, I coordinated international students' recruitment and enrollment activities and also established and maintained relationships with universities, other education agencies, Chinese government officials, school administrators and international students.I will study International Education at George Washington University in August, 2016. After I graduate, I aspire to work in international joint ventures in the field of education. To be a tutor at Varsity Tutors, I hope to improve my ability to grasp the principles, standards, and criteria of interflow between the United States, Asia, and the rest of the world.

I tutor purely because I enjoy it. I started tutoring in high school, working with Spanish-speaking ESL students in their native language as volunteer service. Due to my exceptional academic performance, family friends and members of my local church would often ask me to tutor their children, a request I would grant as much as my schedule allowed. My professional experience with tutoring only began in college, when I was hired as a teaching assistant for the Duke TIP summer program. After graduation, I worked for an international test prep company for two years. In addition to teaching classes on the SAT, ACT, and SAT II Subject Tests, I also provided private tutoring services in high school-level math, statistics, and physics.

It is because I know this feeling so well that I want to help in any way I can.I was the head SAT Math Tutor for a program called SMATH Tutors over the summer of 2020. I have a wealth of experience in chemistry and mathematics, and I want to share that with you. I truly fell in love with tutoring when I saw how much of a difference I could make on even a student's attitude towards learning, not just their results.
