Tutoring is more than just helping someone with their homework. It is using one's ability and intellect to benefit others, thereby using talents to improve others. I have always admired tutors as being these altruistic individuals who are using endowed gifts to make a difference in another person's life. Like a doctor in the medical field, you are providing a service that will improve their life and are dependent on you for their betterment. Tutoring's striking resemblance to medicine ultimately contributes to my desire and enjoyment of being a tutor, for having a positive impact on someone as much as possible is a daily goal of mine.

Nothing makes me happier than tutoring high school students in subjects that I love. I graduated from a very competitive high school and I completely understand the rigorous nature of AP courses and the pressure to get a top notch SAT score. With a 2370 SAT score and a 4.0 throughout college and high school, I think I am definitely qualified to tutor. However, more than being qualified, what I've always hoped to achieve as a tutor is to develop the ability in my tutees to become strong independent learners with effective study strategies that they can take with them wherever they go. My motto is "Study Smarter, not just Harder!"

I currently attend the University of Miami as a Public Health and Human Resources double major while running cross country and track. In addition to running, I love pottery, frozen yogurt, yoga, and going to the beach. My favorite subjects to tutor are SAT, SAT II tests, and algebra, but I am happy to help with almost any course including physics, chemistry, and other types of math.

I'm a senior at the University of Miami studying Exercise Physiology with a pre-med focus.I first began tutoring in 2015 at the Academic Resource Center at UM. At the ARC, I primarily tutored students in Calculus. At the start of 2016, I transitioned to the Schwartz Center where I exclusively tutored Division I athletes at UM. I continued tutoring Calculus, as well as some additional subjects such as Inorganic and Organic Chemistry.Outside of tutoring, I enjoy outside activities such as hiking, kayaking, and swimming. I enjoy traveling, listening to music, watching my favorite TV shows, and spending time with friends and family.
