I hold a Master degree in Science education and PhD in organic chemistry.I've been successfully teaching and tutoring high school and college students for 10+ years. I help my students with regular and AP level of Chemistry and Biology courses material and test preparation as well. I also help college students with General and Organic Chemistry courses. My work experience also includes a scientist position in chemistry research lab.With each of my students I use individual approach and apply my knowledge of teaching methods which help them feel more confident in subject, increase grade and better prepare for the test.

I love math, and I think everybody should! Some say that math is too abstract for the real world, that math is something taught at school that won't be used in real life. I disagree. The power of math comes from its abstractness! 2 + 2 = 4 whether If we're talking about points in a basketball game or dollars in your piggy bank. Sure the numbers mean nothing by themselves, but there are infinite possibilities for what the numbers can represent. This is why when we learn math, we are secretly learning a lot more than expected. Most people would be surprised that trigonometry teaches us how to tune a guitar. Calculus tells us how hard we need to step on our brakes. Chef's know that Algebra holds the secret to perfect recipes. The world of sports revolves around player statistics. Math does more than tell us how much to tip our waiters, it helps us understand the entire universe. The more we practice this universal subject, the more see it in our everyday lives, and in turn are able to apply the knowledge and wisdom we gained in math class.

I received my Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering in 1992 from the University of Tirana, Albania and then I went on to receive a PhD in Physical Chemistry in 2000 from the University of Leipzig, Germany. I have a total of 6 years college-level teaching experience of which 4 years at an overseas university and 2 years at US universities. I have loved chemistry all my life and I thoroughly enjoy tutoring this subject. My teaching/tutoring philosophy is to understand the students needs and then patiently work with them to achieve a better grasp of the chemistry concepts and to improve their skills. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, hiking, listening to rock music and watching sports, motor racing in particular.

I am a caring, versatile, committed, innovative and interactive educator/linguist who believes every student can learn at high levels. I have been actively involved in teaching, writing and public speaking since the late 90s.I have earned a master's degree. I am a licensed financial services professional and have working in investment banking (including research) for many years. In addition, I have been tutoring test prep for specific standardized assessments for professional certifications (FINRA exams), admissions to undergraduate, graduate, and professional schools for 15 years or so, and my students have found my method quite effective. I also tutor some subjects: math, English (including grammar), and writing. I am eager to work with students who are falling behind as well as those who want to get ahead.

I am currently a sophomore at NYU, and have lived in New York my entire life. I'm pursuing a degree in computer science, but am also very interested in physics, math, and economics. In my free time I lift weights, cook, and play guitar.

I'm a current medical student at Georgetown School of Medicine. I have over ten years of tutoring and teaching experience and am passionate about helping my students reach their potential and achieve their goals. I look forward to sharing my passion and working with your student!

I am a graduate of the University of Georgia, and a current law student working toward a Juris Doctorate at Emory University School of Law. Upon graduation from the University of Georgia, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science along with a minor in History.During my time as a student at the University of Georgia, I tutored athletes in Political Science 1101 covering nearly every aspect of American Government. In addition to tutoring traditional students, I have experience teaching children outside of an orthodox classroom; I have taught children how to swim, waterski, and wake board during summer camp.Although I edit essays and tutor History, American Government, and Grammar, I enjoy tutoring American Government the most. As a Political Science major, I am passionate about American Government, as I firmly believe that civic knowledge is a keystone of any functioning society.Outside of tutoring and school I enjoy rebuilding car engines, reading epic novels, and playing violin.
