I am a graduate of the University of Florida. I received a Bachelor of Arts in French and Francophone Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a minor in Business Administration. Since graduation, I have traveled extensively by working as a flight attendant and using my languages on a daily basis. While I can tutor a range of subjects, I am most passionate about languages.

I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in biology. Currently, I am a law student at Emory University.I am excited to help students learn tactics and strategies that will allow them to succeed on the LSAT! While studying for the LSAT, I used these tactics and strategies to increase my score by 18 points and score in the 99th percentile of all LSAT takers.

I graduated wiith my Bachelor's in Secondary Education and English with a minor in Creative Writing from Flagler College. I am currently working on my Master's in English through the University of New Orleans. Over the last severeal years, I have been highly invovled in the feild of education. I have experience teaching from early childhood up to middle school. I served in roles such as a classroom teacher, subsistute teacher, assisstant VPK teacher, and tutor. I enjoy working with the younger students and helping them build the foundations they will need to succeed in the future. However, I also enjoy working with the older students and taking the foundational skills they already have and building them up. I believe the education and knowledge is a right we all share and that it is an honor to help others further their education.

I am a senior at the University of North Florida working on finishing up my Bachelor of Science degree. My major is Computing & Information Sciences with a concentration in Computer Science and my minor is Mathematics. Before attending UNF's School of Computing, I graduated from St. Johns River State College with an Associate of Science degree for Computer Programming & Analysis and an Associate of Arts degree. I maintain a personal GitHub repository showcasing my portfolio of programming projects.Technology, engineering, computers, and their underlying mathematics/sciences are my life's passion. After graduating from UNF, my goal is to secure a position in the field of software engineering. My primary focus in teaching is CS-related: Computer Programming (C/C++/C#, Java, Python, Visual Basic), Web Development (ASP, HTML, JavaScript, PHP), and Data Structures. My secondary focus is Math-related: Remedial/Elementary Mathematics, Geometry, Beginner/Intermediate/College Algebra, and Pre-Calculus.My teaching style is adaptive. Being a student myself, I know that each student learns differently and has different needs. My goal when teaching is not just to help you pass a quiz, exam, or course; it is to arm you with the necessary knowledge and understanding to enable you to succeed in the future. If one approach does not succeed, I am prepared to come at the problem from a different direction. Real-world problems often require unorthodox and novel solutions. You deserve an instructor equipped to provide you with an unorthodox and novel learning experience!

Teaching really is my passion!

I am an English teacher originally from Florida, but recently I've been traveling around working and teaching English. I completed the International Baccalaureate program only 4 years ago and then studied Spanish Linguistics at the University of Florida. I have more than a year of experience teaching English between the University of Florida and Maximo Nivel, Peru. The last seven months I've been in Peru perfecting my Spanish and pursuing adventure wherever I can find it: hiking and camping in the Peruvian Andes, participating in local festivals and traditions and exchanging language with my students and friends.

I grew up in a small town in South Georgia known as Thomasville. I initially was a Math major, climbing all the way to Calculus II with B. However, quickly learned that being in the classroom would not be my career of choice. I changed my major and once I completed my Bachelor's degree in Management at Valdosta State University, I migrated to Jacksonville, Florida to get my career started. Over the course of working different corporate jobs, out of sheer boredom did I decide to pursue my Master's degree in business. Yet and still there was a void. I have always loved Math and the Algebra concepts that haunt so many students are what became engraved in my brain over the years somehow. My business card reads, "Do you hate Algebra? Well, I love it!" And it's not just my ability to teach the subject matter. I have a lovable personality that many seem to gravitate to! I explain problems in their simplest form making grasping the concepts super easy. Outside of tutoring, I am a married mom of 3 who loves writing poetry, reading books and photography.I look forward to getting to know all about you and how I can help you fall in love with Algebra too :)
