I have two bachelor degrees; one in Chemistry and the other in Public Health. I also have a masters degree in Industrial Hygiene, which is a branch of Public Health that deals with employee safety in the workplace. I loved working in that field, but when I had children, I really wanted to be the one at home raising them. I taught Botany, Astronomy, Zoology, Ecology, Metrology, and Geology in accordance with State of California Board of Education Framework. I learned that science is not a cold, calculating endeavor. It's a joint effort between communities. It's an opportunity for people of diverse backgrounds to come together and combine their collective experiences to build a more educated, and more joyous world.
