I am a senior in college studying Information systems with a background in chemical engineering. My current major requires a vast statistical knowledge and I have many years of chemistry experience. I've been tutoring for 5 years and I've been volunteering in classrooms for 6 years. I'm a certified substitute teacher with experience in lesson planning and learning styles

I'm currently an undergraduate at Yale University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English. While I am most passionate about English Literature, I tutor a wide range of subjects, including SAT and ACT Prep, High School Level Math, and French Language.Over the past few years, I've become truly passionate about teaching. In high school, I worked as a private tutor for a middle school student. Since starting college, I've taught a seminar every semester to local high schoolers on "Sample-Based Hip-Hop." Both of these experiences have been incredibly fulfilling and have taught me a lot about the inner-workings of good pedagogy. I believe that the foundation of teaching is strong communication and empathy. As such, I think it is important to get to know each student not only as a student but as an individual. I adapt my teaching style depending on the interests, needs, and unique perspective of each student.In my free time, I host a radio show with a couple friends where each week we share music around a central theme. I also love to write and produce my own music, and I work as an audio engineer for my college recording studio.

I am a senior at Miami University pursing a double major in professional writing and strategic communications. I am excited to be part of this organization to help enrich the brains of students and help them succeed in school.

I enjoy teaching math and science, and I have been an instructor at Cincinnati State College since 2010. Much of my educational background has been in Psychology and Statistics. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Ohio State, Masters degrees in Psychology from University of Dayton and Ball State University, and a PhD in Psychology from Walden University. Currently I work as a Marketing Analyst & Statistician. I believe in making learning fun and interesting, and showing how it can apply to real life. My students describe me as being very clear, patient, and willing to go the extra mile to help them learn. At home I have a wife, a 12-year old stepson, and a 1-year old baby girl. In my spare time I enjoy movies, music, motorcycles. Although I have been to a lot of colleges, my heart is still with Ohio State and the Dayton Flyers.

I recently graduated from CUNY Hunter College. I received my Bachelors degree in Biology with Bioinformatics concentration and Chemistry focus. I am a member of National Society of Collegiate Scholars. I have always been very passionate learning Organic Chemistry and helping others. Organic chemistry, a world of reactions and amazing concepts behind them urged me to be an organic chemistry tutor at Hunter College. I enjoyed interacting with students who were eager to learn it. It was my pleasure helping them with their difficulties in concept understanding, problem solving and encouraged them to try out themselves with self-confidence. I loved seeing them improve their understanding of concepts as well as their test scores. I tutor Organic Chemistry I and II because I really like the deep concepts behind every topic and planning out the strategies to get to the solution. I believe enjoying the process of learning new things is a key step that allows our minds to grow and nurture and it let us discover skills and talents that are hidden within each of us. Besides Organic Chemistry, I like writing, playing badminton and reading about historical events.
