I was a University paid peer tutor for college level students. I tutored Math and Physics with difficulties ranging from basic math to 2nd year calculus.I think the reason my students consistently favor my approach to math and especially physics is my use of practical and physical analogies that make the material easier to relate to, and thus, understand. I like to break the material into bits and cast it in terms of familiar experiences and existing knowledge. From here, it becomes easier for students to build up an understanding of the present subject and to use those problem solving skills in the future.

Also, I worked as a daycare substitute teacher, working with children newborn to fourth grade. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, grammar, and reading. As a child, I was an avid "book worm" and always had so much fun exploring this big world through the pages of a book. Classes I have taught include Anatomy and Physiology, Ecology, and General Biology. My favorite subject is ecology because I can study outdoors in forests and streams. Currently, I am attending the Harvard Extension School as a member of their Creative Writing & Literature program while working as a financial professional with the Centric Financial Group. I am most passionate about tutoring creative writing, and the only days I do not write are days I am too sick to think clearly. Beyond academia, I am many things aside from an avid writer - a gardener, martial artist, and adventurer to name a few.
