I am a recent college graduate with a degree in both Biomedical Engineering and Applied Mathematics. I worked for various departments as a tutor and Teacher's Assistant for mathematics and engineering courses starting in my sophomore year all the way through graduation. It was some of my most exciting times during my years there. For me, working with students is the most rewarding part, and I love seeing the moment a difficult concept clicks.When I tutor I adjust my teaching style to the student, and find various ways to relate the topics to real life. As an educator seeing a student finally understand a concept is a huge reward. I have over 5 years of educational experience as a lead teacher, intervention assistant, and online ESL independent contractor. I also worked in public accounting doing taxes for 2 years. I received my MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management with a concentration in Finance. My undergraduate work was completed at Purdue University. I am currently the Assistant Controller for Horner Industrial in Indianapolis, IN. I live in Indianapolis, IN with my wife. We have 4 children and they are all grown now. We have two dogs, both Australian Shepherds, that are very smart and we enjoy them very much.I tutor accounting, business, CPA Prep, and Finance courses.I like to use examples to help students and solve by walking through each step. Then I usually ask the student to solve another very similar example for me.I want all of you to be successful in your educational goals.
