I started my job path as a Teacher's Assistant at a daycare. Since then, I have devoted my professional career to helping others. I would continue my time working as a camp group leader and acting as a mentor for children and counselors alike.For the remainder of my high school career, I excelled in AP classes relating to English, Social Studies, and Psychology. As a well-versed writer, I graduated college as an A student.Transitioning to university at SUNY College at Old Westbury, I studied Media & Communications. I went from volunteering at the college radio station, to becoming the official Assistant News Director, to finally moving up to a proper News Director role. I was in charge of overseeing all productions, running weekly meetings, and working with students to provide the station with the best quality content. In my broadcasting career, I have won numerous Media Arts Celebration (MAC) Awards including: Best Show, Best News Segment, Best Event Promo, Best Station Promo, and Best Portrait of a Person.Besides working in radio, I was a peer tutor for a number of semesters. I tutored in my field, guiding other students and helping them with essay structure, outlining, and planning for success. Upon graduation receiving the honor of Summa Cum Laude, I received awards in my major for certificates in Outstanding Service, Writing, and Academic Excellence. It should also be noted, that I graduated a year ahead of my peers.Currently, I work as a Podcast Producer at a non-for-profit organization; working with clients to ensure that we are producing quality podcasts for their organizations. On the side, I also act as a producer/host for a talk radio show on AM radio.While my professional background mostly relates to media, I have dedicated myself to working with other people and ensuring that they have the proper tools in life to be comfortable, confident, and succeed in their respective craft.

Hello, my name is Thomas, I graduated from SUNY Purchase class of 2017, on the Dean's List. My degree was a Bachelors of Arts. I majored in History with a minor in Political Science. I am very passionate in my field of study. My focus was primarily on American and World History including Middle Eastern History, Ancient Chinese History, and Irish History. I have expanded on my course work by studying abroad in Italy to learn about their history and culture. I enjoy exploring genealogy and ancestry. My other interests include reading, hiking, photography and traveling.

I will am currently an undergraduate at Adelphi University's Honors College. I am also part of the BS/MD program between Adelphi University and SUNY Upstate Medical University. This means that right out of high school, I was guaranteed admission to medical school in 4 years! I will be majoring in Biology. To work towards my goal of becoming an Interventional Cardiologist, I am currently conducting research in Cardiology at St. Francis Hospital, where I also volunteer every year. I tutor in ACT subjects, SAT subjects, AP subjects, Biology, Spanish, and much more! I have successfully obtained my New York State Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish, one of the subjects I'm most passionate about. Being an AP Scholar with Distinction and a recipient of the AP Capstone Diploma has allowed me to tutor an academically diverse array of students. I have tutored previously through afterschool homework help programs at my high school, as well as through Math, Science, and National Honor Society opportunities. However, having been a Children's Museum volunteer and a baseball coach, I enjoy watching young kids and teens improve in not just school, but in many aspects of life. I love teaching by incorporating these different aspects of life (including favorite activities) into different subjects so as to make the learning process more fun and engaging!

Hired as a Chess Teacher by Success Academy Charter Schools in 2019 Worked with Grandmaster Vladimir Romanenko tin aims of playing chess professionally in the coming years. IQ of 138

I graduated from Fordham University with a degree in English. I've been working in education since then and have developed a passion for helping students improve on standardized tests. I have over three years of experience tutoring students from grade 4-11 for a wide range of subjects. I am particularly passionate about helping students improve in reading comprehension, vocabulary building, and essay writing. While many students find these subjects daunting, I think that with the right strategies, anyone can improve in these areas. When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy reading, writing short stories, and regularly posting on Tumblr.
