I love to teach because learning can be and should be fun. I have an infant so its a joy to watch him learn each day. It inspires me to help others. I went to college for Psychology and Accounting at Fresno State University. I love to tutor both children and adults. I really enjoy tutoring math of all kinds and take pleasure in making it fun for those learning. In my spare time I love to hike and camp. For me life is about having fun, learning what you can and being the best person you can be.

Afterward, I completed a dual Masters of Arts in Arabic linguistics and criminal justice studies (criminology emphasis) with the goal to work as a language analyst for the United States government; however, since my graduation, I have been teaching Arabic at the college level, and I am loving it!I very much enjoy studying how and why people's minds may work in regards to social deviance, which is why I chose to study criminal justice, emphasizing on criminology. My studies concentrated on advanced criminological theories, geographical crime profiling, and behaviors of violent crimes. If you are a fan of shows such as CSI and/or Criminal Minds then you know exactly why I find this field so fascinating!I am here to help learners who are interested in the Arabic language and cultures as well as those who study or want to better understand the criminal justice systems. As a student, I am highly interested in the sciences which has led me to be in this position as a pharmacy student. I love to learn about biochemical processes of our body and how medications can alter that. Once that knowledge has been obtained, it is amazing to learn about how it can be applied therapeutically. My background consists of a public health degree while which helps me understand the broad perspective of health and then learning about pharmacy helps me zoom in and be able to clinically help patients. Professionally, I aspire to be in a workplace where I could continue being innovative and where I can utilize my compassion for individuals. I want a degree of freedom along with my job where I could learn new things and at the same time follow protocol.

I desire to serve as a Tutor because I had a great and unique experience taking a variety of courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level. I have lived in different countries for a considerable amount of time including Brazil, Costa Rica, Venezuela and Panama. As you can tell, most of them Spanish speaking countries with the exception of the first one. I have tutored extensively in Spanish in most cases students from International Schools who require preparation in math for standardized tests such as the PSAT, SAT and ACT as well as for other international examinations; though it is noteworthy I tutor a broad range of academic subjects and standardized tests.
