I received my Masters of Arts in Teaching from the College of New Jersey in 20012, and I have completed my Special Education Certification from Rutgers University in 2014. Prior to enrolling in my Master's program, I taught ESL in Seoul, South Korea for three years working with classes of various sizes and students of various ages and abilities. While working on my Masters of Arts in Teaching degree I student taught in kindergarten and third grade, and have since completed long term substitute teaching assignments in second, fourth and fifth grades. With my experience in multiple grade levels, I feel that I have built a good repertoire to refer back to while working with students of every age and ability level. In addition to my work experience, I believe my love of reading and my passion for learning help me to share my passion with my students and help them to become more engaged in learning.
