About Me

I am a graduate of Harvard College, where I earned my BA, Cum Laude, in Economics and Government. I have also completed Columbia University's Certificate program in Business, and earned a Master's degree in Finance from Claremont McKenna. Currently I am working towards a JD at NYU's School of Law. Starting in college, I tutored students in economics and statistics, and also work with clients on subject test areas for the Advanced Placement exams, as well as standardized test preparation such as for the SAT I and II, GRE and LSAT. I especially enjoy helping students prepare for standardized tests because I remember how helpful a compelling guide and mentor can be during the often stressful process of testing and preparation for it. In addition to performing well on the exams themselves, I believe it is just as important for students to learn how to think calmly and confidently about these tests, so that they can help to serve students' broader educational goals. In addition to tutoring students - and being one myself - I enjoy keeping fit by boxing at the gym, reading mostly non-fiction, and rooting for favorite NCAA teams. I have had the opportunity to travel extensively abroad, and always enjoy learning about new cultures and peoples.
