About Me

My desire to tutor stems from my desire to share knowledge. Throughout my life I have always enjoyed figuring out how things work or solving a new problem. I believe any student can feel this joy if they are given the right tools and mindset needed to succeed. In the past I have worked with elementary level students in teaching physics concepts and have also served as a Teacher's Assistant in an undergraduate level engineering class. I attended Binghamton University for both my Bachelors and Masters degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. I tutor most mast subjects up through high school senior level mathematics. I love tutoring math because I believe the tools and concepts have both direct and indirect applications in everyday life. My tutoring philosophy is to encourage students to solve problems on their own. I provide small assistance when needed but the real focus in developing skills for the student to use outside of the tutoring session. My interests include working out, snowboarding, reading (Fantasy/Sci-fi/News), and watching movies.
