About Me

I am proud to be a part of Varsity Tutors! I am originally from San Antonio, TX; I completed my undergraduate education at Rice University in Houston where I received a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. Currently, I am in my second year of medical school at Baylor College of Medicine. My favorite subjects to tutor are math and science (specifically, chemistry and biology). I love working with students to understand different concepts and really get a good grasp on fundamentals - which is essential to doing well in math and science. I have tutored students of all ages (from early elementary to college students) and of all subjects (from learning how to read to organic chemistry).In my free time I enjoy playing guitar, reading, and trying different restaurants in Houston (#1 Food City in America according to Travel and Leisure magazine).
