About Me

I graduated from Washington and Lee University with a BA in English then earned my MA in English from Southern Methodist University. My standardized test scores and essays gained me admission offers from Wake Forest University and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My GRE scores earned me a graduate fellowship in my current master's program. I'm pursuing an MBA at the McColl School of Business at Queens University in Charlotte. I completed an MS in Organization Development there recently. I have 10 years of teaching and tutoring experience. I was a High School English teacher who taught every grade level from standard freshmen to AP seniors. I love to help students prepare for all types of tests and improve their writing. Literature is my passion, and I can help struggling readers gain confidence. I'm an open-minded, non-judgmental tutor who loves to watch students improve. I take being a dog mom very seriously and enjoy spending time with human and furry friends.
