About Me

I am a Certified Public Accountant with experience working in the corporate world. After graduating from the University of Illinois with a degree in accountancy, I went on to work at KPMG in the corporate tax department. Through that position, I learned the tax compliance process for both federal and state returns. Eventually, I decided to broaden my accounting experience outside of tax and went on to work at Hyatt Hotels in the corporate office. I was responsible for journal entries, account reconciliations, and the monthly close process. Currently, I am studying computer programming as I feel it is an invaluable skill set. Given my background, I am very comfortable tutoring in accounting, math, and economics. I received a 30 on my ACT Math portion, with a 29 on the overall exam. I feel that my ability to assess a student's strength and weaknesses helps me devise an appropriate plan to achieve academic goals. I look forward to fielding any questions about my credentials!
