About Me

I have a passion for empowering others become the best they can be. Tutoring has been a part of my life for almost 30 years. I started helping out my neighbors with their English language learning in my native Argentina. Once in college, I would "trade" tutoring sessions with my peers: they would tutor me in math and accounting, and I would tutor them in microeconomics and business studies. What made that fun and empowering, was that, together, we were able to tackle any academic challenge that came our way. We were a team and it made us all better students. After moving to the USA in 1999, I was asked if I would tutor Spanish and I jumped right into it. I have since been tutoring all levels and ages of Spanish, ESL/ELL, Microeconomics, Business Studies and Public Speaking as well as Psychology - I am getting ready to start my Masters in Psychological Studies and have been a psychology buff for more than 2 decades. Writing is another subject that I tutor, specializing in essay writing and creative writing. Assisting students in getting their ideas across while following specific instructions - or just no instructions at all except for 'write something'! - is also one of my strengths. Additionally, I am a strong believer that if you master your study and organizational skills, you can achieve anything!
