About Me

I graduated from Juniata College with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in German and Philosophy. I've tutored for three years as an undergraduate student for Juniata and have the most experience tutoring writing, math, and German. It is most exciting for me to tutor German and writing because I am incredibly passionate about the German language and culture, and from my perspective bettering one's writing is also a process in bettering one's thinking. I find it rewarding to help students overcome many of the same challenges and hurtles that I and my peers overcame. Tutoring is a way for me to repay a debt I feel I owe to my own teachers by helping others succeed where my teachers helped me succeed. Education is necessary for personal growth and human flourishing as a whole, and I try to embody this attitude while working with students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading philosophy and novels, writing, meditating, slacklining, and playing the occasional video game.
