About Me

I received my BA in biology with a concentration in environmental and evolutionary biology from Thomas More College, and my MS in biology from Western Kentucky University. While working on my masters degree, I spent 3 semesters teaching undergraduate general biology and zoology labs. While I am interested in tutoring a variety of subjects, science and biology specifically are my real passions. My scientific education has helped me grow immeasurably and I would love to help others have the same experience. I know first hand that formal education is not always the most effective way of learning. As a tutor, it is my place to step in when that traditional structure has failed, and I relish the opportunity.
