About Me

Hello! I'm Holly, a passionate graduate who is excited to share her skills as a Spanish language and ESL tutor. When I was a university student, I made spending money (for yarn and snacks, of course,) tutoring elementary school students with reading comprehension and adults struggling with upper level college courses. During the summer, when I worked as a nursing assistant, I even had the pleasure of tutoring my English-speaking patients in Spanish! Watching people learn is pretty amazing, and I can tell you no one is too old (or too young!) to learn some new tricks. What I'm really passionate about is language learning. I find it really fun! It's something I enjoy teaching and practicing with my students. Once you understand another language, it's like every Spanish teacher you've ever had says; you've opened the door to another world, another way of thinking! I love watching people discover all of the new media, as well as people and places, they can enjoy once they're proficient enough in a second language.
