I have been tutoring students in chemistry and statistics for over 5 years. I enjoy helping students gain a better understanding of these subjects by engaging them actively. I like to make sure students are not just given answers, but have a clear understanding of how those answers were obtained.

I try to use multiple approaches in tutoring, using not only formulas, but drawing and diagrams to help see what those formulas represent.

I use a TI-83/84 calculator and Excel in my tutoring and have some experience with SPSS.
