About Me

I am a rising junior at Colgate University pursuing a major in International Relations and a minor in Economics. Since high school I have been adept at math and helping other students succeed in a subject I am so passionate about. I taught elementary school and middle school children how to sail for 4 summers and I volunteered at Family Promise Metrowest to babysit children of homeless families as well as assist them with their homework. I also worked as a teachers helper after school in the math office; I proved to be an asset to the teachers because of my ability to relate to students and convey the material in a variety of ways to ensure full comprehension. In addition to math, I tutor all elementary school subjects. I strongly believe in the pertinence of early childhood education setting the foundation for a life of learning and success. In my spare time I like to stay busy by reading the news, working out, or babysitting my neighbors.
