About Me

I recently graduated from Brown University with a Bachelors in Science in Geology-Physics/Mathematics. While at Brown, I served as a Writing Fellow for three years, which involved tutoring fellow undergraduate students on their writing in a broad array of disciplines: Earth Science, Religious Studies, and Public Health, to name a few. I also served as a teaching assistant for an introductory Earth Science course, where I graded homework assignments and led office hours and lab sessions. I have had extensive research experience at and outside of Brown, and I am currently working on publishing my honors senior thesis on Antarctic ice sheet dynamics in a scientific journal. Outside of academia, I enjoy performing as an actor on the stage and screen. I am passionate about carrying artistic endeavors alongside academic pursuits. I tutor a wide array of academic subjects, and I am most excited about tutoring students in Earth Science, writing and reading skills, Algebra 2, Calculus at all levels, and Physics. I also enjoy tutoring for the ACT and AP exams (humanities and sciences). As a tutor, I am dedicated to effective scientific communication; I believe strong written and oral communication are as essential to the sciences as the mathematical and scientific concepts at the core of each scientific discipline. Scientific communication is particularly important critical when equipping students with the tools necessary to combat climate change and its adverse effects.
