An ambitious, focused undergraduate student currently studying BSc Law. I have a range of interests in different subjects. I'm hoping to help and support individuals exceed their targets. As a law student myself, I have learned to work efficiently within tight deadlines. I hope to use my extensive legal knowledge to help Law students. In my own studies I have covered Contract Law, Criminal law, the English legal system and Public Law. Studying A Level psychology i thoroughly enjoyed forensic psychology and studying approaches such as the
psychodynamic and behaviourist approach. I also enjoyed studying parts of the brain and hemispheric lateralisation, specifically looking at split brain research. During my sociology studies i looked extensively at the work of Emile Durkheim and learnt about several key theorist and approaches such as Marxism, Feminism, Postmodernism. Taking a closer look at how sociological ideas impacted key aspects of the nuclear family and all of its members. It was interesting to see how each perspective influenced legislation through its political stance. English Literature is something i am deeply passionate about and hope for this to continue through tutoring as i have maintained this throughout my academics. I particularly enjoy dissecting texts and making inferences, looking closely at writers methods, and have a deep appreciation for the way in which writers embed meaning. I thoroughly enjoyed studying history at GCSE level and wished i could have continued it further. I enjoyed learning about Weimar and Nazi Germany and The American West covering The Great Plains, alongside Medicine and Medieval England. Maths is also a subject i feel i would be a great fit to tutor, i mostly enjoy algebra, trigonometry, geometry and using pythagoras theorem. I was able to raise my own grade to an A within a matter of weeks. I enjoy the idea that maths isn't as subjective as other subjects and there is always a set answer. I hope i am able to help as many students as possible.
