I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Queen's University in Charlotte, NC. Since graduation, I have earned my Masters Degree in Gifted Education from University of NC in Charlotte and have become IMSE/Orton Gillingham Certified. I have over 17 years of teaching elementary school in grades K-5 and at all ability levels. I am passionate about helping struggling students gain confidence through their accomplishments and successes. I have a strong belief that education should be an enjoyable experience for all learners so I strive to build relationships with my students and tailor the lesson to meet their needs.
