About Me

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Education, as well as my Masters of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University. I began my career teaching special needs preschool. I really found my passion for teaching when I moved to Elementary Education. I enjoy seeing that "light bulb" moments happen for my students. I currently tutor K-5 in all subject areas with a focus on test preparation for the STAAR test in Texas. I believe that all children can learn at their own pace and style. I tutor in the same way. I like to get to know my students and their styles, so they get the most out of our sessions. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, crafting and traveling.
