I have been a career educator since graduating from college. I am currently in my ninth year of being a classroom teacher, and have over 10 years of teaching students in a one on one and small group capacity. I have both a PA Music K-12 and. PA Math 7-12 teaching certification. My teaching philosophy is take make whatever topic I am teaching as interesting and accessible to students. I believe that if I can make the material interesting, it will making the students I teach enthused to learn, and hopefully help them to become independent learners. I stress the fundamentals of the topics I teach, while also providing students with interactive and functional ways of utilizing the concepts.
