I received my PhD in medicinal chemistry from The University of Illinois Chicago and my BA in chemistry from Roosevelt University. I've honed my chemistry skills through my doctoral research on the synthesis of natural products, as well as through my work as an analytic chemist at Deibel Laboratories and a researcher at the NIH. While I love science in all its forms, my favorite subjects are medicinal and organic chemistry.
