My name is James. I graduated with Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Data Science (with a second major) from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Mathematics in Finance from the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University.
I am passionate about teaching and mentoring students, particularly in mathematics and computer science, and I take pride in helping them meet their academic needs. I enjoy teaching mathematics, probability, statistics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence at both pre-college and college levels. During my time in college, I actively engaged in peer tutoring, which strengthened my ability to explain complex concepts effectively.
In addition to teaching, I am an engineer, researcher, and trader, applying theoretical mathematics and computational techniques to solve practical, real-world problems. My work seamlessly integrates my academic background with hands-on implementation in professional settings.
