I am a Special Education Teacher who originally hails from Jamaica W.I. I was born in the month of June, in Montego Bay, in Jamaica and moved to the hills of Kingston as a baby. My father was a Major in the Jamaica Defense Force, and consequently, my five siblings and I were raised for the better half of our childhood, in the Armys Camp Base. In short, I am an Army kid. My immediate family, which consists of my three brothers and my two sisters, are a close knit one.
I specialize in Deaf Education and am proficient in A.S.L. I enjoy teaching students of all ages. I enjoy my profession and have both a full time job teaching Emotionally Challenged students and a part time teaching online. I teach students K-20 in E.L.A, Elementary Math, Reading, Writing, and American Sign Language.
I enjoy fun exchanges of intellectual interactions and love to laugh and have fun. I also am dedicated to constantly research and implement proven ways and strategies to improve my students learning. My teaching style is student centered and I am a firm believer in tying the content being taught to my students real life experiences.
